Speeking of hood designs. I always thought that 1981 had the gas flap 
and the lines, 1982 had just the lines and no gas flap, 1983 was no 
lines and no gas flap with the DeLorean badge, Mike told me that was 
not always the case. I was just wanting a second point of view. Not 
that I'm saying he is leing I'm just stuborn and need lots of coaxing 
to change my mind. My car is a '82 but with the flat hood and the 
badge, I know that it could have been replaced at some point in time 
but I'm getting confused.
