I will be the first to agree there was a good bit of driver error
there. It looks like when he started to high center he stood on the
gas pedal.
What I turned me off to the whole deal was in my opinion, the tires
should have broken traction before the tie rods snapped. I have done
quite a bit of off roading. I will admit never on so many rocks as in
the video, but when I went out looking for something with towing
power and the ability to climb out of the creeks that I am sometimes
required to go through, that video was the last straw for the H2 with
me.
I actually went the other direction and got an old CJ Jeep. It was
able to compensate for all of my many driving errors and has had more
than enough towing power. Hindsight being 20/20, I don't know what I
thought I was going to haul with that huge beast.
--Now for the disclaimer-- I am not dogging anyone who currently owns
or covets the H2. The opinions stated above are just that, opinions.
What you drive is your own business. Please just don't run over my
Delorean.
