I would say so, yes. Going over a few pictures I took out @ Baurele
Automotive in Ohio, I can tell you that even the cars out there have
the suttle warpage. Not as promenent, but it's there just the same.

Aside from direct sunlight, it wouldn't surprise me if it were also
caused by parking a hot car in a closed garage on a summer day, after
driving it. I'm sure that if the radiant heat were to hit the front of
the car, the results would be just the same.

Nothing to loose sleep over, once you glue in some metal splints.
After that, it'll never happen again!
