I've read JZD's biography...and although it would have been legally 
wrong, I think it would have been, even worse, immoral of him NOT to do 
whatever he had to in order to save 2,000 or so jobs.

The quote, from the time, that was most poignant for me was from a laid 
off worker at another large company that met it's demise around the same 
time as DMC...the worker, upon hearing about JZD's arrest said, "I wish 
my boss would have at least tried selling some drugs to help me keep my 
job."
