RE: [DMCForum] Bill Miller needs a new automatic transmission

I've done this on several cars I've had.  Unknown miles, junkyard
transmissions.  Oldest was a 1958 Plymouth 3 speed that had been in a field
for 30 years or so.  Between the kerosene and Trans X, it's fine.  The trans
in my '59 DeSoto has had no issues either, and I brought it back to life the
same way after sitting since 1973.

> Dave,

No doubt it is old seals and probably worn clutch disks.   How many
miles were on your trans when you did the kerosine thing?
