Right on, Joe!  Just my opinion du jour.  I've used the AOL free trial 
on the road a few times and I resent its assumption that I am too 
stupid to weave my own way around a computer connection, let 
alone the 10 windows that opened spontaneously when I didn't ask 
for them.  And when I want to shut my computer down, I don't want 
AOL to do its updates - I just want to shut the damn computer.   I 
assume it still works like that even tho it's been several years.
