> How is the rubber weather strip on the sides of the louver? > I had to bend the ubolt so my louver would latch. Scott, Bending the u-bolt forward or rearward wouldn't matter because there is an adjustment slot for that. Bending it upward would probably do more harm than good because the horizontal part needs to be straight to fit in the latch. My rubber weather strip is hard and brittle even though it has no powdery rot that I've seen on others. I'm not sure that is really the problem since the latch is still so high that it makes the louvers hover over the strip instead of lay on it. I'm sure the rubber was originally much softer but it may have also been higher. And if so, then I'm having a hard time trying to make the adjustment compensate for it. I'm thinking now that maybe the engine cover may be resting too high. I'm going to look at that more closely. Does anyone know a good cross-reference for the weather strip? Walt
