I Bought an 18gig SCSI2 compaq drive off ebay UK for £12.50 but it too
keeps crashing out. If it weren't for my solid reliable ancient
double-height quantum drive, I'd start blaming the adaptor!
With scsi, the bios doesn't matter, it's all taken care of by the ASIC
on the SCSI card. This frees up processor time and allows me to use my
nice new P3 450 (£25) which is ample wunning win98 and netscape...
