This is by design..  Even on local issues that I have
been active in I see that the system is designed by
those in power to retain their power.  I am starting
to think that the only hope we have is if by some
stroke of luck the power shifts to a group who's
agenda more closely matches mine.

I used to think voting helped, but after the past 2
presidential elections I am thinking it is only to
fool all of the American lemmings in to thinking we
have some impact on our government.  Only people with
large amounts money have any impact.
