I looked into buying the Jetta TDi as a company vehicle but there is a
waiting list a mile long here, and they are selling over sticker.

A customer of ours is on his second or third such car.  He chipped it and
put a performance exhaust on and claimed something like 50 MPG on the
highway, if I remember correctly.
