Most of the DeLorean videos I have seen are poor copies.
Being in your radio station job, don't you have access to
video cameras & such to start fresh?
I'm writing a DeLorean movie script. The basic plot is that
a college professor builds a time machine and needs it
attached to a vehicle to make it work. He chooses his
student's DeLorean because -- hey, why not? It seems so
appropriate. (The movie freely acknowledges the BTTF
trilogy without infringing on copyrights, etc.)
The student (a hot chick -- hey why not?) had recently been
to one of the DeLorean Car Shows, so she has her DeLorean
stuffed with memorabilia. Being of an entrepreneurial
spirit, she tries to capitalize on an opportunity to send
anything she can back in time to her earlier self in order
to get rich. The plan goes wrong when her address on a
package she tries to mail back through time gets damaged.
The postal inspectors open the package finding that it
contains personal documents belonging to JZD. So they
deliver it to the apparent rightful owner -- JZD. Well, Mr.
DeLorean at first thinks it's a prank, but then looks at the
contents more closely and freaks. Now knowing all of his
mistakes before he makes them, he does things a little
differently. And of course this creates a very interesting
alternate time line where DeLorean is a dominant auto
manufacture, most cars are gullwing, everything looks like
Ital Design made it, etc. Our time traveler's DMC-12 is now
a unique prototype unlike all other DeLoreans in this time
line. And of course it breaks down.
Anyone interested in helping to write such a story? Maybe
we could film it at one of the future DeLorean Car Shows.
But to do it right will require advanced computer animation
to make all the alternate-time-line cars come to life.
Anyone into that?
