Sauce?! SAUCE?!?!?! *gasp* BLASPHEMY! ;)
Actually, if it's well-smoked, I don't use any but maybe a little sauce,
and that's the vinegar-based sauce. I don't like sweet sauce at all, and
if there's too much sauce it drowns out the flavour of the smoke and the
hog.
I like pulled pork cos it's easier to eat with my fingers. :) (As my
high school band director used to say, "God gave me two forks.")
In a sandwich, chopped is better, of course. And it'd better have some
spicy slaw on it. (I'm one of those guys who likes to eat things that
make me sweat, LOL.)
At this place they don't have hush puppies. I guess I'll have to make
'em myself.
Southern food pyramid? More like a pancake. ;)
