It used to be thought that the mineral oil and Ester did not mix.  Time has
proven that to not be the case though, and many conversions have been done
without removing all of the mineral oil.

I did not say this process would work for a R134
conversion.

Heating the dryer will not get the old oil out of it. 
You may find yourself with a gummed up system in a few
years.
