It did mine, but in a different way. I was able to get home to Knoxville
about 4:00 PM EST after a very long and grueling trip for work, and spent
the last few hours of Saturday at the show on what must have been pure
adrenalin. I found Walt by following the dirty foot prints on the white
floor tiles. Bill, someone pointed you out to me and I was going to say
hello and have a look at your car but you disappeared.
After seeing all those cars in the parking lot I can only imagine what a
show it was and how much I missed. I really hope to be able to attend the
one in Chicago, and have my car ready as well.
Dave, congratulation on the awards; I had hoped to see your car as well.

Knew I carried a sleep deficit into Pigeon Forge, but did not realize
until this morning how much the rest of the weekend operated on
adrenaline alone. Have lived out of the driver's seat of my little
silver car for more than a week. Averaged 4 hours of sleep per night.
Worked on other cars until my fingers ached. Ate a mega richer menu
than usual. Ken's programming was followed by parking lot parties
until 2:00 am. Great fun, but I am definitely feeling the effects
today at work.
Now I know why DCS isn't held EVERY year. Would kill us all.
Oh, miscalculated mileage on the road atlas. Traveled slightly over
1,700 miles. Angle drive broke just as I left town so how would I know...
