Hey Bill, that is really a can of worms of what kind of
water to put in the radiator.  I use only distilled water.
Unfortunately, the instructions on the Prestone bottles say
to use "tap water".  Yeah, define "tap water".  I swear the
municipal water in SE Florida looks like piss.  I kept
flushing the toilet in a hotel wondering who was sneaking in
and pissing without flushing.  I had never seen yellow water
like that before.

FWIW, when I removed a drain plug on my engine block,
nothing came out.  The plug was powder dry.  I got curious &
stuck a screwdriver in the hole to see what was in there.
Then I got a face full of coolant. :-)  Yummy!
