I keep seeing misinformation here
The mode switch parts can be lubed with vasoline, silicone or my preferance lithium grease
The longer it keeps from drying out the better.
I don't know where you got the info that vasoline eats the rubber. I make the part and there is NO truth to that rumor.
These parts are fine with any of the above mentioned .
Oils tend to dry out to fast and make the switch stick and can plug the holes but will not harm the material. It is a gasoline resistant material. Thie bigest problemis ove lubing them and plugging the vacuum holes.
The same with the fuel boots
I read part of a post from before and the boots do NOT shrink in gas. They expand by up to 5% just like the originals and less that other remanufactured boots.
It is just as good as the others and I will guarentee it for 7 years. No other boot will warrent that and I have one that I will gurarentee for life but due to scrap rate and material costs it is $150 we had 12 made and a I am using mine in my cars. There are about 5 left.
Please be careful on the advice given most of you know what parts I make if you have a question ask
Thanks
I am only trying to clear up this post
