In some ways, an automatic it better with a turbo.. 
Because you never take your foot off the gas, the
turbo boost never drops between gears.

5 speed is still more fun..  1860 has an automatic,
and I still intend on making it a 5-speed at some
point.  Another option would be to put a modern 4 or 5
speed automatic in it.. that would be cool too!
