Rich, did you have any issues with doing a neat job gluing
the headliner?  How did you get the fabric pressed into the
"bowl" of the door headliners?

I never liked the vinyl dye.  The spray-can Plasticote looks
too blue (if your matching a gray interior).

All this stuff is a lot more fun if you do it yourself.  And
once you figure it out on your car then people will bring
theirs for you to fix also. :-)

What fuel sender do you have?  Or do you know yet?  Each one
has its own quirks.

The flapper wheel must really be the way to go because doing
it by hand sucks royally.  Unless you move like a robot, the
grain will be crooked & wavy.  I suggest sanding with 80 to
100 grit.  Anything finer tends to polish instead of create
a grain.  Once I get the grain established then I rub it
with a blending pad to mellow it out.
