Have you lubricated the speedo cable all the way to the top?
If you think the breaks won't make it I will be up in Tampa friday and can
help get the pads swapped. Then with the car down here we can pull the
rotors and I can turn them, if they need it.
I don't think you need to worry too much about the AC, the last forecast I
saw has it in the mid 70's at the end of the week.

Subject: [DMCForum] Noise & Fridgerun
Maybe someone can help pinpoint this noise. On the front driver side (or
so it sounds) is a chirping type sound. No pattern to the sound in
relation to speed (other than have to be moving to happen). It just
comes and goes. Had the wheel off earilier and spun the rotor, no noise,
rotor is free enough to spin (not free enough to give a good spin and
watch it spin around for awhile). Cant spot anything wrong. But boy is
it annoying.
I am starting to debate about going to the fridgerun. Dont have AC to
keep myself cool, and I need to redo the brakes (just barely starting to
be heard last evening on the way home from walters). I know I wont have
time to do anything to the car until Friday.
