Actually, were it not for people parting cars out, mine would not be back
together now!  I feel that the owner of a car has the right to do whatever
s/he wants with it.  It's a shame, and it may infuriate some folks
(especially non-owners for some reason), but oh well.  People will stop
parting them out when there is no longer a demand for the parts.

to "Vixen" Dave soon after. He'd said he knew of the guy and was
