I'd be surprised if it needed an new battery.  Walt can't change his
BIOS, let's not send him inside his computer to attack his motherboard
with a screwdriver.  If your bios battery is dead, it's time to get a new
computer!!  Seriously though, unless it's defective, it should last 7-10
years.
