I have both. There are some outside diffs. 1. Front cover, bottom text is larger. Instead of saying "Senior Editor, Road & Track", it says "Editor-At-Large, Road & Track" on the 2nd line on the bottom. 2. On the side, the original has "NP", the 2nd edition does not 3. Back of book says "Distributed by: DMC Publishing" and is done by Red Lion Press. Original is "Book trade distribution by: Motobooks International" and put out by Newport Press. 4. The 2nd edition that I have did not come with a clear plastic cover for the outside paper, unlike the first edition. I come across this often as I collect old Fleetwood Mac LPs. As far as I know both editions look the same with the exception of the added chapter. Has anyone read this new chapter?
