The curator opened the engine compartment and driver's side doors for me to have a look. I leaned in but didn't touch, of course. This one was a Heinz 57 steak sauce color, though I don't recall the real color's name, with a tan interior. I actually had to call IDA as I couldn't find the pictures since they changed their site. In the past they had tons of pictures of the prototype build-up and what they went through to accomplish this, along with support from the Tucker family. The wheels you saw were optional, as was the air bag suspension and other items. Other than the Northstar engine, their other Tuckers were near mirror images of the original. The Tucker and the De Lorean share many traits, and results in history. One I have always wondered about is why they both share problems with the lower control arms. Both cars were way ahead of their time in their era, but can't compare to today's technology. I have also wondered how each company, like Bricklin, would have ended up had they chosen a less-dramatic approach when they first went in business. Greg Yahoo!
