Speaking of occasions to come to New Orleans: "A Prairie Home Companion" is coming to New Orleans for a show on January 31. Just thought I'd give everybody a heads-up. Might be a nice occasion for a visit, and the weather here in January is great. :) Last time it was at the Saenger Theatre, which is a beautiful venue on Canal Street.
