I used anti-seize and I had that rim off the car 2 months ago or less to mount a tire. I had one stuck lug nut then. I suspect that when I had a dragging caliper, the constant cycle of extreme heating and subsequent cooling caused this situation. So far, for removal, the recommendations are the same: heat it up, lube it up, drill it out, or cut it out. That's fine. I just wanted to hear what everyone had to say. I will first, attempt to heat them up with my little oxygen/mapp gas torch. If that doesn't work, I'll see if I can use a dremel to split them. If that doesn't work, I'll snap them or drill them out I guess. I hope the disc isn't hard to get off so I can get new studs pressed in. They are "pressed" in vice threaded in right?
