maybe if it doesn't hit a spark and blow up in your face first.  Spraying
the engine to find a leak is a good method but you need to be careful with
what you use.  If it ignites you will have much bigger problems.

This is a good discussion that has got me thinking about my own problem.
If
I spray starter fluid at the base of the intake, the engine should rev if
there is a vac leak? Correct?
