My phat power house 1987 Toyota MR2 has similar speeds/gear. It redlined at 7600 though, so the gears were shorter. All the mid-90s honda preludes & civics had similar gearing; that's a lot of cars. Still so, in a comparing the gear ratios (and axle ratio) of the D with other cars, it most closely matches the 911.
