Be nice... First: spark advance in sync w/ increased air flow through fuel metering device is hardly something I dreamed up. Henry Ford was doing it while I was just a gleam in my great grandfather's eye. Would humbly suggest that JZD is the innovator here. Second: the instant throttle plate micro switch -> cut off solenoid opens full engine vacuum is going to shoot to spark advance. Vacuum won't drop until RPM's get up. In fact vacuum spike from DMC idle circuit is whole reason for enrichment chambers in CPR -- ANOTHER innovation I'm quite happy to do without. Third: am not suggesting anyone do anything they don't want to. But my R30 looks better and better to me every day. Who would ever have thought I'd be lining up behind the French?
