Bill,

Please clarify for me, you DID drop your dizzy in at 10 degrees BTDC?

I just bump the engine w/the starter until the mark is dead even 
w/the mark on the scale.

I agree about the scale. I removed mine to clean it so I could read 
it. There were marks on the metal so that's what I used to line it 
up. I'll double check it though.

What do you  mean by "go back to first pulley mark"?
