This problem has plagued my DeLorean since I have owned it. I have read of similar symptoms but haven't found the problem. My wipers only have 2 speeds: FAST, FAST and INTERMITTENT. The intermittent mode comes on and stays on whenever I "try" to turn them off. But it just keeps running. I have tried according to the manual and as per everyone else's instructions to hold the lever down for 2 seconds to turn them off, but this does nothing no matter how long I hold it. Sometimes I can get them to turn off if I catch it at the right point in the cycle, or maybe it is just plain luck. I have read about this being a bad ground on the steering column control. I just had this all apart today and verified that everything in the switch is fine. I have tried a different wiper module, but this does the same thing. What do I look for next?
