Re: [DMCForum] Re: remote door unlock

Martin is just about right...

And I don't know about the newest LockZilla, but on mine
the plug has FIVE wires and you can track the wires into
the 9 wire plug to see where they connect...

So I've just taken a look for you and here's what I got...

Plug - Function
-----------------
RED - +12V
BLACK - Ground
GRAY - LOCK (parrallel to Brown/Slate)
ORANGE - UNLOCK (parrallel to Brown/Pink)
YELLOW - NOT used (yet(?))

To have this work you heva to make your alarm and/or remote
ground the Gray or Orange for locking or unlocking...

Make sure your syetem gives a PULSE on the wire,
NOT a continous ground, as the LockZilla could get confused
because of the responsetime of the locks and stop functioning.

Part of it's internal safety is that the LockZilla ceases
working when the locks get out of sync. If the remote grounds
"lock" with the doors still on "unlocked" LockZilla refuses...

Good luck,
