When I develop the film, I cut the negatives into "convenient" 4 to 5
exposure strips.  Since I'm into darkroom work, for me half the "artistic
process" of making a picture is in tweaking the print (or scanning the
negative).  One of Murphy's Laws:  Don't argue with an artist. ;-)

Yeah, I had a Sony Mavica and loaned it to someone who kept it.  I'm too
pissed to buy another.  My main gripe is that the built-in lenses you get
with digital cameras are junk.  A digital camera that could take my Nikon
lenses would cost too much.  I have more flexibility and less cost with
old-fashioned film (for now).  I'm looking into buying a medical Nikor
lens,
and those go for over a grand last I checked.  It's the kind where the
flash
is a ring around the parameter so you don't get shadows.
