Re: [DMCForum] speedometer / tripometer repair



On that note- mine's broke too. How would you go about replacing that
little button? Is tearing the dash apart the only way to go there?

  The trip reset arm is a well known weak spot on DeLoreans.  The vendors
sell
  replacements.  Lee Seiler used to make these, so I wonder if he is the
one
  supplying everyone else.  My main word of advice is to ask who you buy
it
  from if it is used/NOS or a reproduction.  Replacing with an original is
  likely to be a waste of time since it will break the same way again.
