I have a 170 on 06068, and think it looks fine.  This care came with it,
so I dont know the process of modification.  I think Grady at one point
did this conversion for people so you may want to contact him.

There was a 140MPH decal made by a DML member a few years ago.  I
purchased one, but have not installed it. It came with calibration
instructions (I think it was, take it to someone who calibrates
speedometers!)

Either way, neither looked "crappy"

All of the 170mph decal conversions that I have seen looked real crappy.

looks like they used a razor blade (and plenty of caffeine) to cut out
holes
for the turn signal & headlight indicators.

If anyone has a different take on what is out there, I'm curious to know
too.
