RE: [DMCForum] vacuum for making D parts

I guess my little piece on fiberglass mold making was unnecessary then,
but
I would like to hear more about what you do and intend to develop.

I have liability insurance on what we do and it's not very expensive, but
I
have no idea if it would cover new products released to the public. This
we
may need to discuss more.

It would be much easier for me just to get the guys in the shop to do any
molds we need or want. For those who don't know I work for a fiberglass
tooling and design company. And they give me access to the equipment
after
hours and supplies at cost.

As for expanding foam yes moisture can be a problem but that is why most
places use a thin plastic liner which acts as a burrier.

Yes I do have my liner panels ready to go to work as molds but they are
back
in the car now...

I am working on getting a company started. Problem is I bought a house
and
not do not have the cash needed to get the liability insurance to sell the
products.
