[DMCForum] Re: ac mode switch question

Hey Martin,
The hissing is pretty loud, I just checked it an hour ago. I will
take out the switch as you described and take a look, hopefully thats
all it will take to have a functioning ventilation system!
It got pretty bad while I drove the car around Boston this summer in
100 degree heat (with my black leather seats!). I had to take a
second shirt with me wherever I went I was sweating so much, it
really is about time I got this a/c fixed...
On another note, do you have trouble finding oil filters in England?
I spent a few hours searching for one today but no luck, I even had
the box of my last one with me, a purflux... Says on the box it
crosses with a peugeot 604 gti v-6, but even the local peugeot garage
couldn't help... DOH.
And another question for you, have you ever found a cross reference
for the door seals over here in Europe? I'm looking for the big one
that goes all around the door and also the thin one that covers the
screws to remove the T-panel and windshield bezel...
And just one more question!!!
Do you know of anybody anywhere in Ireland who has performed a
torsion bar adjustment? I need to do this to my car... I would even
get the boat to England for a weekend to get it done, any excuse to
drive the car...so who in England could do it, do you think?
Thanks for any help.
Best wishes,
John
