[DMCForum] shipping tires (was and still is "Car Love")

I bought my Michelin Pilots from TireRack.com and they came "no frills"
via
UPS.  They were taped together as pairs with ordinary clear packing tape
with a label stuck on the side.  I was shocked by the indignity but then
realized that not much of anything in a UPS truck can hurt a tire.

P.S. This message thread just gave me a great idea for a girl's name.
"Carlove"  It sounds a bit like "Carla" yet still effeminate.  It's a good
thing I'm single. :-)
