Inspired by Martin G's progress with sound proofing his car, I just placed a substantial order with www.B-Quiet.com. Total cost of order is around $360 for enough materials to do the whole DeLorean interior (except the doors). The reason for starting now is that I'm about ready to put my a/c back in the dash, I'm looking for ways to make extra work for myself (as usual). Now is the time to sound-proof everything on the front wall since I have gobs of room in there to work. After doing a lot of reading online, I decided on using two layers of B-Quiet Brown Bread covered by a layer of B-Quiet Lcomp applied to the front wall and floor. I'm going to save doing the rear of the car as a separate project. I don't want to do anything to make the doors heavy, so at a later time I'll consider installing a layer of something like B-Quiet Lite after I have experience with the rest of the car. If anyone has any suggestions or experiences to share, let me know. Walt To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Your use of Yahoo!
