The proper logo that fits this handle is a thin black piece of plastic/vinyl that warps like a piece of lasagna when the sun bakes it. PJ Grady sells a replacement, but I'm not sure that they are any less apt to warp than the originals. (I don't want to spread false rumors, so ask them if they have had any complaints.) Not to contradict Martin, according to the Parts Manual, these shifters were on the later cars starting at VIN 4837. They look like electric razors with cheesy-looking chrome trim which doesn't match any other part of the interior. The earlier shifters (before VIN 4837) are all black and more ergonomic in appearance. They all seem to have the same shape but differing textures from matte to shiny finish. I'm suspicious this is only from the injection mold wearing out with use. Then they went to the logo-style version.
