Greg, Yeah, PUBLIC radio, hence I am still saving for the DeLorean. ;) I work at the local NPR/PRI affiliate station, 89.9 WWNO FM at the Lakefront. However, I only do the news if the news guy can't make it; I host the afternoon classical music shift from one to four in the afternoon before the news. Our programming is mostly classical music and NPR News; we also carry "Marketplace" which I think is pretty cool -- half an hour of news devoted to the economy -- and on the weekends we diversify, carrying Celtic, roots music, opera, and new age music programs, as well as "This American Life" (essentially storytelling) and "Fresh Air" (essentially casual interviews with famous people). Saturday nights from 7pm to 1am are jazz, jazz, jazz. I think I included everything ... If not, I'll think of it later. I'm on the air right after lunch, which is ... *looks at watch* Now! :D Best regards, Farrar timnagin wrote: > > Public radio?!? Oh well, you had everything going for you up until that > point. Just kidding. Curious though, what kind of public radio? > > Greg [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
