This all reminds of all the hubbub about cold fusion a few years ago.

I think it's basic physics why this is crap. As I posted before, the
second
law of thermodynamics states that no machine can produce enough energy to
power itself (it's called a law because we all have to obey it, even Lisa
Simpson). For Tilley to have created this mystical machine, he would have
to
have invented some sort of super lubricant than eliminates ALL friction.
This, unto itself, would be a more monumental discovery.

If he had actually done this, the world's energy problems would be solved.
