[DMCForum] Re: Fridge Run Repair status

Listen guys, this parade is the least of my worries. If we
participate, fantastic. If not, I won't be upset. I just want to get
out of the cold and cruise the area, hang out with new friends and eat
my parents out of house and home. That reminds me, I want to take lots
of pictures to post so bring cameras. Digital if you can.

Walt,

I'm just not going to have money to fix the A/C. For all I know I need
every component. I can let you look at it and you can tell me what I
need. That way I'll at least have a shopping list. If the list is
-short- we might be able to fix it. My condensor is removed but I can
bring it for testing.

As far as staying at your place goes, if you don't want guests that's
ok but I've been camping out with my reserve unit for 3 months
straight in the cold. Your place would be a friggin' tropical vacation.

I should be done with the brake work in a week or so which is probably
the last major repair necessary for the trip. Mike C. and I have
another repair session planned for this weekend where I will install
several minor but necessary parts and tidy things up.

On another note, I received a flame-mail from a guy who monitors the
DML but doesn't really post. Apparently my car is trash and so am I.
While he's not the first person to say so, I'm glad to note that the
positive people greatly outnumber the negative people.

His mail reminds me that I need to thank everyone here and the vendors
for all their help and encouragement. Thanks guys.

Rich A.
