The front speakers are 3x5's right?

I have heard you need some kind of gasket on a certain speaker to mate
to the dashboard to make the speaker sound correct???? What speaker
works for the front.

Any preference on brands of speakers for the front & rear? Any links???

I may just tackle my crappy speakers this winter.
