Never read so much rubbish in my life. The old Routemasters -are- being
phased out because they are dangerous, and all the newer buses have
convenstional doors. Double decker buses may be quintissentially
British, but they're far from being exclusive to London. My local route
here in Kent runs DD's and so to most of the others in the country
London buses are unique for being Red, but that's about it
