Not entirely true...go to brickboard.com and do a search on PRV, B27, 
B28 or B280. Soft cams and frequent oil changes are the main subject.
The B280 (1987 and later) had a redesigned oiling system for the cam 
and so wear was not the problem. I have 250k miles on my PRV great 
compression, does not use oil and cams in good shape. My current 
problem is a leaky head gasket :-{(.
