I know that I could adapt the Electromotive system to the car, but I
don't want to. I just want to be able to slap the stock DeLorean fuel
injection, and ignition system right over to the car. Now that
certainly seems like an imposibility, if the distributor on the Eagle
motor has no trigger inside. With no trigger, there is no way to fire
the ignition coil, let alone trigger the tach & fuel pump relay. Plus
I couldn't advance the ignition either. I could probably machine
those heads to accept injector bungs, but I need the distributor.
My only reasoning here was to see if there was a quick and dirty swap
that could be performed with the Eagle engine. They're cheap engines,
and now I know why. There really isn't much you can do with them.
