Bush didn't put an end to Stem Cell research.  He opposes Federal
Funding of it.  Another liberal myth debunked!

Funding for research has very little to do with who is in
office.  Just
cause he put a stop to stem cell research doesn't mean that is
why they
didn't get funding for parkinsons research.  My brother is doing
research on nano-sensors for medical use, and in the last 6
months has
received close to $2million in grants.  The animal sanctuary
where I am
director of engineering lost its primary funding 5 years ago for
conducting heart disease research with bears.  But we just got a
grant
to study how different animals react to the monotone sound from
TV's.

I found out this weekend the SBA and some other govt agency is
holding
some kind of interviews with people looking to start their own
business.  And they will be awarding 20 people in the Fort
Myers, FL
area with grants for $125k.  Why the hell would Bush and his
boys want
to give that much money away to people that need it?  They
should take
it as a pay raise or use it to drill for oil in the everglades
and arctic.
