Hey gang:
This is strange. According to the NADA Blue Book guide, the value of the
DeLorean is the same for all three years (between $9,050 and $27,500
depending on condition), but it gives the following three different
prices for original MSRP:
1981: $27,500
1982: $29,825
1983: $34,000
Weird, huh?
It also adds that "Models professionally restored or refurbished by
DeLorean Motor Company may bring a considerable premium (up to 30%) over
values listed."
Now that last bit is just curious, but I'm wondering if the price really
did go up that much with each model year. Anybody still have their
original window sticker? I'm curious what the MSRP was for each year.
Farrar
