Rich, did you pull the decorative stainless caps off of the lug nuts?
These
get in the way of spraying penetrating oil on the threads.  If the caps
are
still on then punch a hole in the end and spray penetrating oil in there.

I think that PB Blaster works better than WD-40 or liquid wrench.
